The fortress (roadblock) in Gomagoi year was completed 150 years ago. For the occasion of the First World War Ortler collectors association organized jointly with the Austrian Society for Research fortress, a memorial which, on 10 and 11 September 2011 will take place.

Reinhold Messner presents his lecture to the Dolomites in the impressive atmosphere of the Ortler massif Solda. Based on his memories and his own experiences in the great walls of the Dolomites, he tells of the magic of the most beautiful mountains in the world, their distinctive shapes and colors, their history and the conquest of the summit and walls by the climbers.

The 70-year-old Paul Hanny from Solda is a South Tyrolean original and a storyteller. He is the "South Tyrolean Till Eulenspiegel" and the "Baron Munchausen by Sulden". Even as a young man, left his hometown of Passo out into the wide world. He spent several months in Brazil, was in Bobteam Italia 1, and as a passenger in the Rally of Morocco here. When he met the mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner, he found a friend for life: With him, he went to eight-thousand-expedition, passed through Bhutan, took the first photos of the Iceman Ötzi, the yak got to Sulden and brought the little village again and again into conversation. A unique multi-day walk on the sunny side Vinschgauer

• The three Holy Wells in Trafoi, this ancient sanctuary in the source Trafoier valley lies at 1607 meters. The church was built in 1701 and is available after 2 km on easy way.

• Stelvio road (2,760 m), built in 1822 by the shortest route between the Valtellina and Val Venosta produce. Solda - Who's the fastest down the mountain into the valley - this challenge could put freeriders again this year: From 25 to 27 March in Solda for the fifth time the "Freeride Hero" in the free area at the Schöntaufspitze (3325 meters) instead, where the best freeriders in the region faced each other.

Marmot SULDEN RIDES - 28 - 31 March 2011
